== Installing VirtualBox using VirtualBox.run ==
For the installation VirtualBox on systems for which a package manager arachive is not available, a generic installer is provided in the form of the ''VirtualBox.run'' script. This installation archive is downloaded by selecting the approrpriate download for ''All distributions'' on the VirtualBox download page. Once downloaded to a temporary directory, the installation is invoked by issuing the following command in a terminal window:
