The entire error screen displayed my by the Windows Server 2008 installer appears as follows:

ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) provides an interface used by operating systems for hardware recognition, configuration and power management.
The reason this error is occuring is typically because ACPI has not been enable din enabled in the Xen domainU configuration file for the Windows Server 2008 guest. By default this support is displayed disabled, so unless it has been specifically set enabled in the configuration file the Windows Server 2008 Xen installation will failas outlined above. This value can be set  ACPI support is enabled in the Xen domainU guest configuration file as follows:

Once the change has been made and , the configuration file saved and the doaminU guest restarted, the installation of the Windows Sererv 2008 system as a Xen HVM guiest guest should proceed without any further problems.
